Woke up to the darkness that resides in my room.
Light courts and tans bricks and live people.
The sun sets on the west side of my soul
Where the goodness lies inside.
Beautiful people with.. Beautiful faces.
We congregated on a pier for our one night of freedom.
Didn't participate
Too late, but we all kissed in the sky
Disguised as fireworks.
Back home to the prison they seem to call home.
Breaking free of such convictions in five.. four.. three..

Spent entirely too long hiding behind a pair of shades.

Two..
